Principle Functions: The Mobile Unit Operator (MUO) is responsible for driving and maintaining the medical mobile unit. He/she will also provide support and security for mobile unit team. The MUO will regularly survey the mobile unit to assess any possible issues and will work directly with Mission Mobile Medical and local vendors to address any maintenance issues. He/she will drive the mobile unit to all outreach, church, and service locations and stay onsite with the team until completion of operations.
Principle Functions: The Advanced Practice Provider is a licensed medical provider who is not a physician but performs medical activities typically performed by a physician. This position is an APP (Advanced Practice Provider) which will be either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the role. The APP must hold a current licensure in the State of Texas and is responsible for managing the care of and addressing the health concerns of the women who come to The Source. This care is in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the medical standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). The APP will collaborate with the Medical Director (Supervising Physician) according to state laws and regulations. The APP will also collaborate with other members of the staff and healthcare team to provide high quality care.
Principle Functions: Operations Manager provides operations resource support for the organization. The Operations Manager serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to operations.

Principle Functions: The Sonographer is responsible for providing an initial scan to determine fetal viability, i.e., IUP, cardiac activity, and gestational age to patients in their first trimester of pregnancy. Additionally, the Sonographer will perform a scan for someone who is late to care if indicated by the clinician. The sonographer will also provide a proof of pregnancy and provide support and resource information (including The Source resources/programs and resources in the surrounding community) to patients as needed.

The Mobile Unit Nurse will provide nursing assessments, education and evaluation of patients seeking care for pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STD/STI testing and treatment, and other provided medical services as well as documenting information in medical charts. The Mobile Unit Nurse will also share and explain other services The Source offers that can support them and provide options counseling. The mobile nurse will be responsible for maintaining supplies for the mobile unit, including routine inventory and order requests for clinical, material assistance and outreach supplies. In addition, the mobile nurse will assist the Mobile PA with developing and maintaining relationships with community partners in relation to the mobile clinic. All actions will be in accordance with best practice modules and in compliance with The Source policies and procedures.
The Case Manager (also referred to as Client Care Coordinator) is responsible general case management and coordination of client care services in the clinic and community. Primary duties include performing needs assessments, creating Client Care Plans and tracking progress, performing home/hospital visits and coordinating client support services (support groups/mentoring program, post-birth care).
Principle Functions: The Health Educator is responsible for delivering/presenting all of The Source’s educational programs, including pregnancy education, childbirth classes, parenting education, youth Sexual Risk Avoidance Education, and any additional enrichment programming made available in both English and Spanish. This role includes teaching weekly group classes, including but not limited to adult and teen classroom presentations, teen leadership programs, and parent workshops.
