We offer pregnancy and parenting classes through our parenting program. These classes provide helpful information to help you have a healthy pregnancy and/or learn good parenting skills. Contact your local center for schedule and additional details.
We have a baby boutique filled with brand new baby clothes and accessories. Moms and dads who participate in the parenting program earn points that can be cashed in to get items for their baby. We also have diapers, wipes, and formula, all for free! Parents are eligible for this material assistance once a month.
If you are eligible for Medicaid assistance, our staff will help you with your application.
Are you unsure of your options and next steps regarding your pregnancy? Our trained staff will sit with you, listen, and review all of your legal options with you, including abortion procedures, adoption choices, and parenting support. There is no judgment, and we will support you along this journey no matter what you choose.
If you decide to continue your pregnancy, we invite you to join our mentoring program. You can be matched with a local female mentor who will provide support and guidance during your pregnancy and up to a year after your baby arrives. Your mentor will be a friend and confidant to help support you on your journey of motherhood.
We offer lab-grade pregnancy tests to help verify your pregnancy. All tests are run by licensed nurses, and we provide Proof of Pregnancy paperwork.
We also provide non-diagnostic ultrasounds performed by Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. These ultrasounds are to help determine the viability of your pregnancy (meaning the pregnancy is in the uterus, and a fetal heartbeat is present). The sonographer will provide you with a printed report and pictures to take with you.
We offer free professional counseling with trained and licensed LPC, LPC-i, and LCSW counselors. No topic is off limits, and everything you share is confidential.
For all women who come to The Source for care, we will provide full-panel testing, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV. We will also provide treatment (or referral for treatment, if HIV positive), as well as testing and treatment for your partner.
Well woman exams focus on preventative care for women and are key to helping you stay healthy. Exams include a full check-up, which helps to detect and treat any new or ongoing health problems and to help prevent future ones from developing.
